Register to vote
Voting gives you a say on important issues that affect you – everything from roads and recycling in your area, to education and climate change. You may think you don’t want to vote now, but if an issue comes up that you want to have your say on, if you’re on the register you’ll have the chance to vote on it. Registering to vote is really easy. You can register online at www.aboutmyvote.co.uk

Find out who your MP is on the Parliament website. Or if you want a bit more detail about what your MP has been up to, how they have voted etc, go to www.theyworkforyou.com. You can also use this website to send an email to your MP.
