Bedfordshire
--------------------------------------------------------
Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I am concerned about the way government's
can have a negative impact on people. For example, people in Africa
are living a miserable life because of government mistakes and corruption.
I am also interested in how teenagers are communicating and how
they get to know each other and socialise because this is one of
the solutions that prevents young people suffering from loneliness.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
From the young people I have talked
to so far, lack of communication between young people is a big issue.
Young people need help on how they can socialise. Other young people
have been complaining about transport issues.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I am going to visit a school and talk
about racism. Being an MYP was a great opportunity for me but the
youth workers I am working with so far have not done much to assist
me. As a new young person in the country it's hard to get to know
other young people but if I had help from the youth workers I would
try and talk to young people and get to know their views. I will
also work on the transport issues because it's a big concern.
What is your future career ambition?
My future career ambition is to do
something political, like try and solve the situations in Africa
and Asia about world poverty and fair trade.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I mostly admire Condoleeza Rice because
she is a woman of true voice and she is confident just like me!
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
I would love the government to try
and help those children who are wrecking their lives taking drugs,
being prostitutes and doing criminal activities, because they could
be the presidents of tomorrow but they need the government to help
an encourage them.
