Which political issues are you most passionate about?

  • Youth venues and social events - things to do and places to go for young people.
  • Healthy Schools - to get healthy food in schools.
  • Pupils involved in assessing teachers, so it can be seen from our point of view.
  • Improve public transport, so we can get around.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

I feel that the biggest issue for young people in my constituency is that there are not enough youth venues and social events, that are open to all young people, so we can have fun, meet people out of school, socialise and be safe.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

  • Influence young people so they know their views count as much as anybody else's.
  • To enjoy the experience and get as much out of it as possible for me and every young person in my constituency.
  • To have made changes and achieved something to help young people.

What is your future career ambition?

I am unsure of my future career ambition at the moment but I have many interests in sport, music, sociology and things like UKYP, which involve standing up for things that I and others believe in, to get our views heard.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

The public figure I most admire is Lance Armstrong because he won the tour de France 7 times and in 1996 he was forced off his bike as he had advanced testicular cancer that then spread to his lungs and brain. He had a 50% chance of survival, made it through and continued to cycle. I admire him because he had the will power to keep going no matter what tried to stop or drag him down and he didn't give up!

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

To listen to the views of all young people and help us to make things better for everyone because we are the future!

Additional comments:

I am really looking forward to making a difference in my area during my term of office, it's going to be fun and hopefully I can make things better for you!
