Status:
MYP
Constituency:
Kent
--------------------------------------------------------
Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I am most passionate about education
as I feel that this effects every young person in the UK. Education
entails so much more than just school, it encompasses life learning
and key skills.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
I feel that for young people in my
constituency one of the biggest issues is the poor transport facilities
including times, reliability and fares.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
During my term of office I hope to
continue with the citizenship and PSHE campaigns that were previously
started particularly with my role of education select committee
member for the South East. I also hope to be very active within
UKYP and generally help the work of other MYPs who are also working
for their constituents.
What is your future career ambition?
I would love to say Prime Minister
but there again I think being one of the most hated people in the
UK can't always be that easy! However, I would love to become the
Minister for Children and Young People and represent my constituency
as an MP!
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I don't really know that I do! I just
think everybody should be themselves and we should stop looking
at people in the media and the public eye as perfect beings.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Young people deserve just the same
as every other citizen - we are not just the citizens of the future,
we are also the citizens of today.
