-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I'm passionate about many political issues. If I had to pick it would be Votes at 16 and rights of the child. This is because I feel it is important that young people know their rights so that they can use them to protect themselves. I'm passionate about Votes at 16 because at 16 we can do most things that adults can do including paying taxes, so why shouldn't we have the chance to vote? What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? The most important issue for young people in Kent is health, in all aspects, transport and education. These are the most common concerns for young people. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? During my term of office I wish to really make a difference by making sure young people are being heard. I will do this in any way I can because I know doing simple things like writing to a local MP or organisation can make all the difference in all walks of life. What is your future career ambition? My future ambition is to become a Barrister and combine it with politics. Being on youth councils and an MYP has really inspired me to want to make a difference. Which public figure do you most admire and why? I don't think I have a public figure that I really admire. I tend to admire people who go unnoticed every day yet fund the time and dedication to stand for what they believe in and help improve the life of those around them. They are the people who really make a difference. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? Start listening to young people more often. We know what we want to do and how to improve our lives. We need our say because it will be us making the decisions tomorrow. And communicate with us; if you want us to get involved, that's great, but we need to know what's happening! Additional comments: UKYP is great.
