Giving as many people as possible the right start in life so they have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. I guess this covers quite a few particular issues. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? Being a rural area the biggest issue for my constituents is campaigning for fairly priced and reliable public transport to be able to get to the available but widespread facilities. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? The highlighting of the disparity between the treatment of non-voting (ie under 18) young people, and those higher up the age scale who are voters. What is your future career ambition? Broadcast journalist with the BBC. Which public figure do you most admire and why? Tony Blair - not unreservedly, but for the way he carries out what he does with purpose and conviction. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?
