--------------------------------------------------------

Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I am mainly passionate about: the up-holding of young peoples' rights, as stated in the UNCRC. Transport, as I live in a rural area where it is vital. Green issues, again because I live in the countryside. I am also incredibly passionate about equality whether it be: gender, race, or any other types of current discrimination, it needs to be eradicated.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

From talking to young people in my area, transport is by far the biggest. This is closely followed by the need for an increased variety and amount of leisure activities, though we need transport to be able to access them.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

My overall priority is making sure young people have an active and important role in my region and therefore this country. I aim to interest many more people in representative politics and thus ensure a better future for our country.

What is your future career ambition?

After being involved with UKYP I'm now much more interested in politics. Current ideas include History, The Foreign Office, full Parliament or a future Paxman!?!

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

Jeremy Paxman, he is the best at what he does. If I can ever speak, debate or question as well as him I will be most satisfied. He is also a family man and genuine, not a celebrity type. He is clearly a talented intellectual without going into the Stephen Fry realm.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

We're the future - listen to us. One of us is going to be making decisions about your lives, possibly raising your taxes, perhaps dropping your pension. Doesn't it make sense to be considerate and include us more now?

Additional comments:

UKYP is vital to the success of our country in the years to come. Support us and help us to help you. Any comments queries or requests will be greatly welcomed.
