Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
The political issues I feel most passionate
about are education standards, global warming, healthy living and
the perception of young people in the media.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
As Stroud & Cotswolds is a predominantly
rural area, I feel the biggest issue for young people is the lack
of places to go and the lack of public transport to get them there.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
During my term of office I hope to
achieve better public transport for people across the constituency,
increase the availability of jobs for the under 16s and reduce litter
in the countryside.
What is your future career ambition?
I haven't yet decided on which career
I want to pursue so I am keeping my options open. I don't want to
decide too soon because I will only change my mind in the future!
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I would have to say that I admire
Tony Blair. He has been a controversial Prime Minister, dividing
both the nation and his own party, however his success in three
general elections shows what an outstanding leader he has become.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
I would encourage the government to
engage more young people in politics. At the moment their political
jargon only confuses a lot of young people. If they could get more
young people to put their views across then they would get a much
better idea of how to run the country.
