Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
The political issue that I am most
passionate about is the standard of education in our schools. I
believe that lessons should be made more interesting and fun. I
also think teachers should be more approachable.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
The biggest issue for young people
in my constituency is recruiting more young people, to get more
views in the future. But we are discussing raising awareness about
my forum.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
In my term of office this year I hope
to meet new people, find out about other people's views and express
my views to influence others.
What is your future career ambition?
I am not to sure on what I want to
do in my future career. I would like to help young people to have
a voice or teach young people in school. I am taking my options
at the moment so it is an important time for me.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
The public figure that I most admire
is Jane Davidson (Minister of Education and Lifelong Learning).
This is because she is trying to help young people for the future.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
The message I would send to the government
is that young people are not just the future, they are the present
and they need to look after us in all aspects of our life.
Additional comments:
I am so pleased to be a Member of
the United Kingdom Youth Parliament. I think it is a great opportunity
for me and I hope I enjoy it.
