Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
As I'm on the 'Amgylchedd, Cynllunio
a Chefn Gwlad' [environment, planning & rural affairs] subgroup
on the Welsh Youth Assembly the environment's something that I'm
quite passionate about. Also, I'm really passionate about the issue
of the teaching of the Welsh language in Wales, it's really important
to me.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
In my area, the biggest issues are
probably the need for better school councils, more facilities and
more reliable transport.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I hope to be able to voice the opinions
of my area and to get more experience in working with other people
and meeting new people.
What is your future career ambition?
Big question, but, I'm really interested
in business, law, language and travel, so a job that entails any
of those things would be really good.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I'm not sure who I admire most but
there's a view people who I'm glad we have around. Probably Jamie
Oliver for using his fame to effect young people in a positive way;
Jayne Davidson for being encouraging with participatory rights for
young people and Peter Clark [Comisiynydd Plant Cymru/Children's
Commissioner for Wales] for all the work he has done in Wales to
make sure that young people can access their rights, that their
opinions are heard and that he speaks on our behalf to bring us
more safety and participation.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
My message would be that participation
should not be something that's amazingly new and eccentric to the
way society works; it should be an everyday thing that allows everyone
to have their opinion taken into consideration easily.
