Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I am most passionate about issues
that affect young people and their rights, for instance education,
our rights as young people and issues in schools (anything to do
with young people).
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
I think the biggest issue for young
people in our constituency is the lack of places to go after school.
There is a distinct lack of places that we are able to meet our
friends and just relax away from home and school work. I think this
is an issue because without obvious places to be able to go, many
young people are forced to stay indoors or hang around on the streets.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I hope to better the health and well-being
of as many young people as I can and create a better environment
in order to try and achieve a better quality of life. In all, I
will try my best to make the life of young people more enjoyable.
What is your future career ambition?
I hope to become an MP or possibly
open my own business.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
The public figure I admire the most
is Gordon Brown. I admire him because I believe he makes good decisions
and I believe the education plans he announced are very good. Unlike
many politicians I think he speaks a lot of sense, and he doesn't
appear to me as the type of person that would make a false statement
in order to win the approval of the public.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
I would like to tell them to stop
arguing in Parliament and to start discussing the issues instead.
I think the British public have heard enough pointless bickering
that sometimes takes place.
