Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
The political issue I am most passionate
about is cycle lanes! So what's right with cycle lanes? Answer =
nothing! Compare the UK's cycle lanes with others across Europe
and you'll see the difference. I could go on and on about them but
I think I'll stop now while I have the chance.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
Well I can only say what have been
relatively "hot topics" throughout my term of office so
far this year. Locally, somewhat shockingly it appears that the
"doughnut man" and "potato man," outside of
WH Smith's store in Kidderminster have been told to close down due
to their unsightliness from recent complaints. We at Worcestershire
Youth Cabinet signed a petition to try and stop these businessmen
from closing down their stores. Other strong issues have been the
more usual: abolishing university fees.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
In my term of office I hope to put
forward some of my strong views on some political issues and help
make a difference in both local and national transport and employment
issues through campaigns etc.
What is your future career ambition?
My future career ambition is to become
a solicitor.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
"GET YOUR FAT ARSE IN TO GEAR!!!"
... OK something slightly more appropriate ... "Young people
want more swimming facilities, as locally there is very little and
in some cases none or none appropriate for competitive swimming."
