Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I am most passionate about young person's
rights. I believe that since the next generation will be the young
people of today it is only right for us to have rights in what we
want to say. It annoys me when an adult will do something because
they think it's right. At the end of the day it's us who will be
running the old people's homes, so the adults should be nice to
us!
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
I think the biggest issue for young
people in my area is public Transport. This has been a huge issue
raised from all young people who I have spoken to.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I hope to make a difference for my
constituency by getting young people heard and improving the transport!
What is your future career ambition?
Believe it or not, but in my future
I really do not want to be involved with politics. I wish to be
a children's Social Worker. This has always appealed to me and I
am finally at that stage where I can begin the education I need
to do this.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I mostly admire my MP George Mudie
as he has done a lot for my family and our friends. He has a lot
of commitment in his job and is a really friendly man. I look up
to him as he has a strong opinion that young people should have
their say with larger issues.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
If I could give the government a message
I would tell them that they are wrecking out country and need to
really think about how they can improve it rather than making it
worse. I'm sure they just sit there thinking of ways to make us
young people's lives more difficult; is exam stress not enough for
them?
