Which political issues are you most passionate about?

Personally, I am most interested in transportation in general as it is one of the most direct ways for us young people to extend our horizon of knowledge. Only by going to different places we can learn things out of the classroom.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

As East Riding of Yorkshire consists of many small villages and towns mostly far away from cities, it is hard for those in the rural areas to find reliable public transport to travel to places.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

During the election process it became clear that many young people are not aware of the UKYP. Therefore one of the main aims for me is to increase the awareness of the UKYP as a channel for those young people that wish to be heard. Also I would like to find a way to improve the public image of young people by promoting extra curriculum activities, and thus reduce the amount of perceived 'trouble makers' who are wondering the streets and basically have nothing to do.

What is your future career ambition?

Personally, I think the most important thing for me is to be an individual that can contribute to society. As I am interested in science based subjects, I would like to be a medical doctor in the future.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

Not a particular figure, but I admire those who are willing to sacrifice to benefit others, examples being the doctors that provided immediate emergency medical assistance when the London Bombing took place.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

We are the future. Your decisions that affect us will indirectly affect the future.
