-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I am quite passionate about the issue of votes at 16, as I feel that young people are mature enough to vote at this age and deserve the chance to be involved in the election of the people who ultimately make all the decisions affecting their lives. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? One of the biggest issues in my area is the basic issue of young people's voice, and making sure young people have someone they can go to, to make sure they are properly listened to. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I hope to set up several different things, like drop-ins, that young people can attend to put forward their views directly to influential people. What is your future career ambition? As yet I have not completely decided, but local government is definitely something that interests me, and I would consider a job of some sort in it. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? I would request that the government should more actively involve young people in decisions that affect them, and consult with us more widely before making decisions on our behalf. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- East
