Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
Any issues that relate to the degree of control that the government has on people's lives intrigue me. Issues such as whether or not to allow smoking in public places or whether to introduce identity cards facinate me as they divide public opinion to an extent that is not often seen nowadays.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
I feel that a lack of provision in rural areas as well as overpriced transport for young people are the biggest issues facing youths in Scotland as this prevents communication and thus limits oportunities for many people.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I hope to improve relations between the Scottish Youth Parliament and the UK Youth Parliament and to help them to work more efficiently together to deal with issues facing young people in my constituency.
What is your future career ambition?
I'm still undecided though a future in politics or possibly a career involving ecconomics is what I'm aiming for at present.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
Jeremy Clarkson. Regardless of the validity of what he says, I think that he sets an excellent example to people who have an opinion but are afraid to voice it as it goes against what the majority think.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Make more of an effort to engage with young people. We have opinions that we are passionate about. I think that it's integral that the Government recognises this and channels the enthusiasm rather than allowing another generation to become disilusioned with politics.
