Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I think the main issues I am most passionate about would be promoting Fair Trade, Global Warming and Votes @ 16.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

In my constituency, well Corby has the highest teenage pregnancy rate certainly in Northants, possibly in the whole of the East Mids, so I would like to find out why that is and try and lower the figures. In Kettering I feel the biggest issue is the amount of gangs or groups of young people that just hang about in town centres and parks and just mainly on the street. Young people often get intimidated by these groups of young people.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I don’t really know what I would like to achieve. I just would like to get the UKYP more recognised and to try and improve the lives a little bit of young people in my constituency.

What is your future career ambition?

I would like to be a Drama Teacher, either at Primary schools or at Further and Higher Education.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

David Cameron (I think that’s his name, the leader of the Conservatives) as I believe he doesn’t care that he has lost in the general elections, but still has enough passion to try and improve the country, even though he doesn’t have as much power as the PM.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

The young are tomorrow’s future, so start listening.
