Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I wouldn't say I'm passionate about
any specific political issues, however I do feel really strongly
that many people need to realise that "yob culture" doesn't
include every young person. In fact most of us are really great
people with many talents and unique views on life. Also, loads of
young people are out doing really positive things for the community
like those who are part of the UK Youth Parliament.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
I feel that many young people in my
area don't have enough cheap, accessible facilities and many are
bored out of their brains. Many have nothing to do outside of school
and so hang around on the streets with their mates, which adds to
people's negative perception of young people.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
During my term of office, I want to
publicise the UK Youth Parliament to young people and really help
them see that their voice can be heard.
What is your future career ambition?
I would like to be a sports physiotherapist
as I really enjoy sports and I hate seeing people with injuries
have to put up with the pain. It's not a fun experience!
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I don't really know if there is a
public figure I admire most. I think initially, I would have to
say Prince Charles for all the work he does using The Prince's Trust.
I think it's great that he's used his money and his publicity to
do something that's really helped people throughout the UK.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Not sure yet, I will let you know
when I've decided on one.
Additional comments:
I love UK Youth Parliament. Everybody
I've met so far rocks!
