-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I think out of all the issues the government face, crime and anti-social behaviour is amongst the biggest as it is increasing each year. As well as that, I feel more needs to be done to protect the environment and encourage a more sustainable way of living. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? There are numerous issues which I feel are important for the young people in Merton. However, again, in my opinion, crime is increasing within the borough and many are beginning to feel intimidated and unsafe. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I hope to achieve a lot during my term of office, some of my aims include: increasing community officers on the streets, improving the quality of transport, encourage more recycling and making Merton’s streets cleaner. What is your future career ambition? There are many career ambitions I am considering at the moment but I plan to focus on my studies and finish my secondary education first. Then, will I consider career paths. Which public figure do you most admire and why? I most admire Nelson Mandela because he fought for the freedom and equality of his culture with peaceful protests; he has helped many people and done wonderful things. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?
