-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I am most passionate about raising the awareness for Global Warming and securing our future in a healthy environment. I think that improving Transport is very important for young people, lessening prices and extending it. I think that Sex Education in school and that providing more and better leisure facilities would improve a lot of young people's social lives. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? I think the lack of leisure facilities and recreational and social activities provided for the young people in my area is a serious problem. I think that improvements in this area is crucial and that it would please the majority of the people in my constituency if it occurred. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I aim to achieve a deeper incite and further knowledge into what happens and what people do in order to create and improve the lives of young people. I want to make sure that I represent my constituency professionally and successfully and have their views heard through me. What is your future career ambition? At the moment, I am finding myself quite undecided but with an open mind to take any good opportunity that comes my way. I aim to follow education through to university. A career in politics is something that appeals to me and working with and for young people is something I am definitely passionate about but I can’t deny my secret desire to perhaps pursue my acting and music! Which public figure do you most admire and why? I admire any public figure that goes against the norm and stands for what they believe in for the good of the people. I admire all the work that Al Gore has done in order to raise awareness for Global Warming If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? To respect young people and to try to involve them in as many things as possible. I would like them to recognise all the wonderful things that young people are doing and to provide them with substantial support in all aspects. Additional comments: So far, being an MYP has been a great experience. I only hope that this is the start of a long time in office.
