Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I think that all issues that affect young people, like schools and healthcare are most important to me. However, issues such as national security are also extremely important.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

There is simply nowhere to go and enjoy yourself at our age without sitting on street corners. This is because all the youth clubs are aimed at younger people and unless you are 18 all the night clubs won’t let you in anyway.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I wish to improve the areas in which young people can go to enjoy themselves. Also I want to lower ferry fares across to the mainland.

What is your future career ambition?

I want to do a law degree and then become a barrister, hopefully progressing to the judiciary. Also, if chance permits, to be MP for the Isle of Wight. However, this all depends on results, and if I can’t be a barrister I want to still work as a lawyer of some form.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I think that although Tony Blair has made a bit of a dogs ear of this whole Iraq situation he still has a very hard job to maintain. So although I do not admire him as a person I admire his courage to take on such a difficult role.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

I think that this would be to sort out the Iraq and Afghanistan situation because I think it has gone far enough and we are causing more harm than good, not just to the Iraqi civilians but also to our armed forces.
