Which political issues are you most passionate about?

Climate change is becoming a much more pressing issue and certainly something that needs immediate attention. International trade and development of poverty stricken countries is most definitely an issue that I am very passionate about, as there is so much that can be done but so much resistance that is felt from countries such as America and Japan.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

Closer to home I feel that personal safety, simply day-to-day, is an issue that affects most young people in High Wycombe. Transport and the 11+ selective system are also two issues that need tackling.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I would like to do as much as possible to confront the issue of public transport, as so many people feel affected by it. I would also like to look more closely at the grammar / upper school split and what young people think needs to change about the funding and opportunities that vary between the two.

What is your future career ambition?

I would like to have a career in politics, particularly international development and relations, or law.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

Nelson Mandela, as he was such an inspiration to his people and had such drive and determination. He also has an unfaltering moral conscience and the fact that this lead him in everything he did is highly commendable.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

To be stronger on environmentally friendly products and procedures, and not be afraid to make some tougher decisions that may disgruntle big trans-national companies.
