Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I am heavily interested in green issues and could easily talk about them for hours on end, but the main issues I want to work on in my time as DMYP are: better sex and relationship education in school, better transport in rural areas, better pay for under 18s and a better image for young people.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

I think the main issue in Mendip is the lack of good sex and relationship education. The little we do get is mainly biology and big issues to do with relationships such as how to deal with break ups aren’t even touched upon.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I want to improve sex and relationship education in schools, take action to make sure the right people know the exploitation some employers are getting away with (as little as £1 an hour) and help the youth parliament campaign in trying to improve the image of young people.

What is your future career ambition?

I hope to get a job in the performing arts, preferably acting as I am most at home on the stage :)

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I admire Michael Eavis as he has done so much for so many charitable causes; he helps our local community immensely and ensures that my favourite festival is on year upon year (excluding every 4th as the land needs that time to recover.) Without Glastonbury festival England would loose a great national treasure!

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

Climate change is real and it needs to be top priority now before it’s too late; however much it might sting the treasury.

Additional comments:

Don’t worry, I’m not always this serious, I can just get very passionate about certain issues :)
