Which political issues are you most passionate about?

There are quite a few political issues I am passionate about including animal welfare but I think one of the most important would be bullying and discrimination. There can be extreme consequences of bullying and I don’t think there is enough being done to help prevent it. Bullying is a very serious issue for young people. It cannot be quickly resolved but more could be done to work towards a solution.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

I believe that money and facilities is the biggest issue in my local area. Young people are charged adult fares for cinema tickets, bus fares, swimming ticket etc. Adult fares usually start from the age of 14-15. As it costs a fiver to get to the facilities and even more to use them, teens start using the streets to hang out on and I think that antisocial behavior would be a smaller problem with better things to do.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I hope to raise more awareness of environmental issues and focus more on ways to help vulnerable teens as it’s an essential stage of growing up. I would like to be remembered for making a difference in the larger picture.

What is your future career ambition?

I haven’t really made my mind up yet as my career ambitions seem to change every month or so. I’d love to have a career that has an impact on the world, which will help make a difference but I don’t think I want to go in to politics. I’d prefer more of a practical job.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I don’t think I know enough about any one political figure to admire them but I think a lot of public figures have achieved many great things to be proud of and anyone who has participated in charity work of any sort gets my thumbs up.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

Use your power wisely. I think the government often funds certain issues that aren’t as important as others. They should cut spending on certain things, like the Olympics, and use the money in a better way, for example hospitals.

Additional comments:

Always think things through before you do them, for example could this be recycled or could I spend this pound on something better?
