Name: Spencer Breeze
Status: Deputy MYP
Constituency: Stoke-on-Trent
--------------------------------------------------------
Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
The political issue that I am most passionate, like most people, is discrimination. I hate the amount of prejudiced bullying that goes on in schools.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
I think that the largest issue that young people want addressed is the amount of parks and things to keep young people entertained. All of the things at the moment are either wrecked or cost money which young people find hard to get hold of. Especially young people that are still in high school.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
During my term of office I hope to achieve better SRE in schools. Also it is going to be great working with new people and becoming more confident.
What is your future career ambition?
Well, hopefully I will get into something to do with politics. If not I will probably get into a job with a nice office or something like that.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I admire anybody who works with a confidentiality policy. I think that it is very important that people can go to these people and know that they will not be judged and that any information that they tell them remains confidential.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
I think that there should be more people in the council/government that are closer to our age. I think this would make a massive difference in government and change the negative image shown in the media massively.
Additional comments:
I am really glad that I have had the chance to so something that will change the way things in the country are run and to represent the young people in my area. I am really looking forward to working with young people that are from different areas.
