Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
The issues which I think are important are cutting down on fuel omissions and recycling more, this is because we are the future generation and if nothing is done this will be our problem.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
The biggest issue is the problem of safe places for young people to meet.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I would like to achieve more widespread and effective recycling policies in schools. Also to cut down on carbon omissions by encouraging young people to use a better public transport service with cheaper fares.
What is your future career ambition?
I have many ideas at the moment and have not yet decided. I am thinking of going into either journalism, IT, TV Production or teaching.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
Steve Dayman, the founder of Meningitis UK (a charity which focuses on the research into the vaccination against meningitis). The reason being he lost a child to this disease but went on to create an opportunity for other to be saved, including myself.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Listen to the views of Young People more and take us seriously - it is OUR future!
Additional comments:
It is going to be a great experience working with the UK Youth Parliament as a Deputy MYP and I will do my best to make a difference during my term of office whilst representing my constituency.
