Which political issues are you most passionate about?

The issue that I am most concerned about at the moment is the stereotypes that the young people of this country are given and how we can change those opinions by focusing on the good things that young people do. I am also worried about the growing levels of crime in the country, as i feel that some places of the country are now too dangerous that you can’t even walk around the streets without feeling scared.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

I feel that the biggest issue for young people in my constituency is the complete lack of affordable things to do outside school/college time. If there were more places to go then I feel people would be a lot happier about the town that they live in.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I hope to achieve at least one major change that not only the young people of my constituency can see the effects of, but young people nationwide. I also want to represent my area well and help to give a better view into what young people can achieve.

What is your future career ambition?

I am not too sure at the moment, but I am looking into either the Pharmacy route or Accountacy.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I don’t particularly admire one certain public figure. I think that some people receive too much publicity for doing too little, whereas there are hundreds of people within local communities who do amazing things and receive no recognition for it at all.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

The message that I would like to send to the Government is: “Listen to what we, young people of today have to say. We are the future of this country and our voices need to be heard. Our views should be listened to and respected the same as any adults. Just because we are young doesn't mean we don't have an opinion".

Additional comments:

I am looking forward to being a MYP for my constituency. If there is anything you want to ask me about our area and what I can do to help, then feel free!
