Constituency: Northamptonshire

Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
Personally, I am most passionate about education and transport because these are the issues that currently have the most impact on my life. Personally I think life lessons about, finance, job interviews car maintenance etc. should be taught in schools, because at the moment we are only taught for exams, and not for life!
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
The lack of transport and facilities is definitely a major issue in my district because of its rural location. Transport is necessary to travel to areas with facilities but it is; expensive, inconsistent, can be dangerous and limits what young people can do.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
During my term of office I hope to fairly represent my area and be successful in making the changes my district wants. I would also like to change people’s preconceptions of young people; so hopefully, my willingness to get involved and be pro-active will help to eradicate the stereo-typical view.
What is your future career ambition?
Currently I have no idea, maybe something to do with politics, economics or French. All I know is that I want to be successful (and being rich would be quite nice).
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I don’t admire any particular public figure; I think the most amazing people are the people in our communities that do lots of good work, like running youth clubs, and carry on regardless of recognition and rewards, they just do it because they love too.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Listen to us, because we are the future. We are people in this society too, so you should respect our views and act on them, after all one day we will be older enough to vote, so you should be making allies not enemies.
