Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I am very passionate about bus fares for young people as at the moment they are outrageously priced. Only a few years ago they were a reasonable 80p and now they are £1.15! I find this terrible because where are young people supposed to get this money from? I am also passionate about recycling, not just in schools, but everywhere. At the moment we just throw litter in a bin, which isn't really much better than littering, its just moving the waste into one place. We really need to get more recycling bins out around the public rather than just in tips.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

Probably the bus fares at the moment. I have already mentioned the high prices and lots of the people who voted for me came up to me and said they voted for me because of the bus fares issue, so I think that is a high priority for them.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I hope to make the young people of North Somerset happier with the facilities available to them and to achieve what I promised them I would. I really just want the people in my area to feel that there has been some change (for the better obviously) while I have been in office.

What is your future career ambition?

When I'm older I aspire to be an actress working in West end productions. I have always loved theatre, acting and making myself heard, so I would love nothing more than to be up on that stage in front of the world! I intend to study drama for GCSEs, A Level and at University (or theatre school) to really get myself where I want to go.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I'm not sure if I admire many public figures at the moment. I'm not sure whether Gordan Brown is worth admiring yet and Tony Blair wasn't very high in my opinion. There are a few actresses that I think are doing wonderful things and they really get people into whatever they do. So, a celebrity who shows a love for recycling and the environment probably gets more attention from the public than many politicians.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

Do more about global warming! To make big changes we need to think small, we need to have solar panels built into new houses and free or very cheap installations for older houses. We need LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) in traffic lights. Normal bulbs are wasting so much electricity! We need energy saving light bulbs to go down in price and for normal bulbs to become less available. Little things like these should all be standard anyway. But they're not! We can't just say: ok, we'll deal with global warming and then build a few windfarms and leave it at that!

Additional comments:

I am so pleased to have got to this position and I'm really look forward to working with a large variety of people, both young and adults. I'm really thankful to all the voters and I really think this could work.
