-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I am very passionate about global warming because if we don’t change our ways, we are all at risk. Also, for everyone in the world to have his or her rights not discriminated against. But, for my local issue it would be giving the voice to young people. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? The biggest issue in my area would be the cost of transport, children being charged adults prices, which are just far too high. Also, ow infrequent the buses are. If you miss a bus, you could be waiting more than an hour for the next one. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? My three key issues are: Cyber bullying, closing the gap between generations and appreciating culture. What is your future career ambition? I’m not sure yet. I’m really into Geography, PE and, of course, politics. I would love a job that combines all of them. But, I would love to travel the world and help the less fortunate countries find their way out of poverty. Which public figure do you most admire and why? Oh that’s a tricky one . . . I don’t really admire anyone, but I think the positive impact that some people have on the world is fantastic. From the local council to all sorts of figures in history, all have made a difference. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? My message to the government would be: you need to listen to us because we are the future generation. We have so many opinions and words of wisdom that could help change the world we live in. Additional comments: Don’t stand in the shadows. Shine. Everyone deserves a voice.
