Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I feel really strong about transport. I believe that bus fare has become really expensive. I am also passionate about the media’s bad perception of young people as well as the fact that over 16 are classified as when it comes to public transport. I think this is wrong because young people aren’t classed as adults until the age of 18, so why class a 16 year-old as an adult on a bus?

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

I think the main issue is how the “yob” factor is used. I feel like people are stereotyped just by the fact they wear a hoodie, when they probably don’t want to cause trouble and they may be people who respect others and are mature for their age.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I want to share experience and learn with all young people around me. The reason for this is because I like meeting new people and I really want to know how they feel about things. After all, they are part of my generation.

What is your future career ambition?

I don’t know, to be honest. All I can advise myself is to do what I love, and that is to help others.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I admire Idina Menzel. Idina is a Broadway star famous for playing parts such as Maureen (RENT) and Elphaba (Wicked).  Both her characters show how to express your feelings, even if you are have a different race, gender, religion,  sexual orientation or whatever. In short, both characters tell us to be ourselves, no matter what.
