Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I’m passionate about the environment. There is so much more that we can do to help protect it and preserve it for future generations. I would also like to see University fees eradicated and grants reinstated.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
One of the biggest issues is the availability of public transport. Buses run too infrequently and to get from a to b can take hours. However I believe that recycling and energy conservation in schools is also a big factor and much more can be done to highlight awareness and contribute to the conservation of the environment.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I hope to achieve better awareness of the UK Youth Parliament and help improving facilities and communication within schools.
What is your future career ambition?
I have high aspirations to become an MP, though I could also aspire to becoming an ambassador for the UN or working in finance, business or public relations.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
The Queen. She does a great job representing our country and what it stands for. She always looks respectable and has a great aurora about her. She defends what is right and continues to make positive relations with other countries.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Get a grip on public services and sort out this country; to have a leading economy and public prosperity. Try listening to young people, as we are the future generation. Continue working on real life issues that affect young people and understand the impact that rules and regulations can have.
Additional comments:
I think that the UK Youth Parliament is a great organisation and united it really is our chance to "Make Our Mark!"
