Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I have many political concerns including transport (its availability and pricing), vandalism and anti-social behaviour. Wider political concerns are of the change in our environment, especially global warming. I am also a member of Amnesty International, so am passionate about most of their campaigns, especially illegal arms trade and child soldiers.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

The biggest issue for young people in Herefordshire is the lack and unreliability of public transport, and its pricing, as Herefordshire is a very rural county. There is also a lack of activities and clubs for the youth of Herefordshire.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I would like to see the youth of Herefordshire being represented more nationally, and hopefully try to see things change in this county for the better.

What is your future career ambition?

I am interested in studying politics, philosophy and economics. With that I would either like to go into politics, or law. However I am still unsure!

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I have a few public figures who I really admire. The first is Nelson Mandela. He managed to change South Africa around hugely and really bring about a lot more equality there. The other major public figure I admire is Ghandi. He managed to do really amazing work in India during his life, and never resorted to violence. He committed his entire life to changing the lives of Indians and did really amazing work! This is why I admire him hugely!

Other public figures I admire are: Irene Khan (Secretary General of Amnesty International) and Gustav Stresemann (for his amazing work in foreign politics and reforms in Germany during the inter-war period, without whom the Second World War would probably have come a lot sooner).

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

Young people are the future of Britain and of the world, and need to be listened to.
