Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I am passionately opposed to the rapid erosion of our civil liberties by New Labour in the name of counter terrorism. I am also deeply passionate about the challenge that climate change presents with right NOW and the action we MUST take to limit its damage on our planet.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
The ridiculous cost of public transport, despite being in the final stages of fighting for concession cards for all young people countywide. Also, the lack of engagement in the democratic process.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
Concession cards issued to all young people and to successfully continue in consulting with the government on how to counter political apathy amongst the young.
What is your future career ambition?
To study law and/or politics and to then work within the Liberal Democrat Party on the issues that really matter to the country and the world.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
The relentless protestor 'Brian Haw' who has stood for his beliefs in Parliament Square for many years now and has fought the protest "permission zone" to the highest court in land.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Signing pathetic little scraps of paper and introducing an ID scheme that entails the creation of a National Identity Register will NOT prevent terrorism.
