Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
There are many, mostly climate change I feel that because of the constant turning of an eye and negative attitude from older, and our own generation has led to the slow but painful destruction of the very beautiful thing that gave us life, Earth. It is up to us now to try and tackle this issue as young people and show those that doubted us, that we can and will put things right.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
For my constituency, the biggest issue is lack of facilities and gang, yob culture which has also led to a negative stereotype of young people and often the good things that young people do are ignored.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I don’t believe we can change the world in the click of our fingers, but if I put in enough passion and commitment and pressure, I can help with the ukyp campaigns and carry on the work that I am doing for SRE and climate change.
What is your future career ambition?
Possibly teaching drama or history or a career in politics, but I’m not sure, I’d like to carry on with my fascination with geology, but whatever I do I want to help make change along the way.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
Wangari Matai as she was a strong minded woman who led women in Kenya on a powerful crusade called the green belt movement, against deforestation, in a country where the roles of women aren’t equal, she pushed boundaries and she made the chance to make change.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Sometimes life and love isn’t about closing your eyes to what is destroyed and ugly, but to open your eyes to what is beautiful or the things that are hungry to become beautiful, we young people are here, and we are hungry to help, give us the chance but do not exploit or use us.
