Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I am passionate about stopping the long term ignorance this generation has on the issue of climate change. Many people exaggerate how bad the topic is, but how many of them are actually doing something to make a difference? Another subject I feel strong about is presumptions of different age groups on youth, in particular teenagers. The media only tells you about bad things that a minority of the age group do, which then gives a bad impression on the whole. This stereotyping needs to end.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

In my immediate area transport affects our youth. Getting to and from school is a problem for many young people, as money is not a thing to be wasted with many at this age and bus fares can amount to a lot every day. I think that for a small period of time, during specific school starting and ending times, young people should be able to travel for free.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

My goal is mostly to 'make a difference'. From small issues like transport to making an impact on bigger issues (e.g. climate change, awareness, action). So, at the end of my term in office, I would then feel confident in knowing that my given 'voice' helped our youth as a whole. I also want to enjoy my time too whilst in office.

What is your future career ambition?

At the moment I am particularly passionate about expressing myself through photography and journalism. I hope to combine these skills into becoming a successful photojournalist and travelling the globe, reporting on many different places and their issues with the visual evidence too. However, my options still remain open as I enjoy having my say and fighting for what is 'right' in law and current issues.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

J.K.Rowling. She created her first amazing story whilst living off barely any money at all and raising a child. Her imagination and determination is admirable and I aspire to become as successful if not more, than her. However, if I come even close in any aspect of her work, I  would see that as an achievement in itself.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

We, as a generation, are your next members of Parliament and hard working society. So, listen to us.

Additional comments:

Thank you to all who took the time to vote for me. Your support has been overwhelming, particularly the Edensor Technology College, whose pupils remain loyal to their fellow pupils and have supported me through the recent election.
