-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I am very passionate about the way young people are seen in the press. As the UKYP manifesto says, 75% of all media on young people is negative and I don’t like that. Because of this I will be organising a talent show for any young people in Dudley to enter. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? Again, I feel it is the portrayal of young people. Ok, I agree that Dudley isn’t full of little angels but most young people have never been in trouble at school or with the police, yet if you were to look at the way the press talk about us, you would think that was the case. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? As I am only a deputy member, I want to help the main MYPs for Dudley (Heidi and Joe) but I want to start a talent show. The first will be this year and I will invite press to come along and see just what young people are really like. What is your future career ambition? I want to go to college and then to University studying Politics or ICT. Then I want to teach primary school children so I can see the work that I do has an impact. Eventually I would like to go into Politics and be an MP! Which public figure do you most admire and why? David Cameron. He has turned the conservatives around, however I must say that I am not a conservative supporter because their policies don’t benefit people from disadvantaged areas, such as Dudley. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? Did you feel stupid when you found no weapons of mass destruction and do you feel guilty that hundreds of innocent lives have been lost?
