Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I am most passionate about the Transport Campaign and the representation of young people in the media. It is time that young people are not required to pay the prices of adults on public transport. Also, we should show that young people are not as bad as they are represented.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
In my constituency, the National Transport Campaign is the biggest issue. Many of my constituents are regular bus and train users but they cannot afford the prices. This is because before they have adult rights, they end up having to pay adult fares.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I hope to be able to represent the views of all young people to the best of my ability. I want to prove that not all young people are what they are shown to be in the media. I also want to persuade Parliament to introduce a Transport Concessions Card.
What is your future career ambition?
Even though many of my friends want me to become a Member of Parliament and then Prime Minister, I want to follow a career path in the Physics and Maths world. This is because I really enjoy it and the pay is excellent!
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I admire Michael Portillo because of his excellent communication skills and how he is able to reveal the truth around many political issues. I really like how he is able to take an impartial view on all of the political parties even though he used to be part of one!
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
I would say that it is about time that they created one age where young people are deemed adults, so that we do not get treated like adults when we cannot have the rights of adults.
