Which political issues are you most passionate about?

At the moment the main issue for me is the cost of university fees. Everyone should have the right to a further education without having to worry about it financially. Also, putting a stop to binge drinking and anti-social behaviou. People are putting themselves and others at risk-and for what?

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

There is not enough regular transport to and from rural areas making it therefore difficult for us to access towns and cities. Also, the lack of respect from older generations is stamping the youth with a bad reputation. Finally, the lack of youth/community projects available throughout the Derbyshire Dales and High Peak.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

Hopefully I will achieve and bring some beneficial changes to my constituency and to be part of making the youth of today gain more control and say in their lives. Finally, I hope to gain some important skills and confidence to help me in the future.

What is your future career ambition?

I have a keen interest in art and working with a broad range of people, particularly children. I am still not sure, but becoming an art teacher is one of my ambitions. If all else fails, a dream of mine would to either work in the media  on or to become an actress.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

There is no one that I particularly admire in the public eye, however, I look up to people who  show the qualities of having a real passion for caring for others and acting in a way which benefits other peoples’ lives locally.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

"Lets us have a voice! But, not only that: you need to start listening to us in order to make changes."

Additional comments:

I am really looking forward to this great opportunity. As well as meet many of new people, I am ready for the challenge!
