Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I’m very interested in all political affairs, but mainly domestic and international affairs. I feel that the three main public services are of vital importance to my interest, these being the NHS, education and police. However, I have a wide range of interests in politics, everything is an interest to me, but I like to think of the above as my most passionate issues.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
Personally, in my local area, transport is of vital importance to myself and my constituents, as well as helplines, litter and also the environment. I believe that transport is a big issue, as the prices need to be more relaxed, and it needs to become more environmentally sustainable.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
During my term I would like to combat transport mainly, and bring about the changes within that industry in Lincoln that the young people want, which is cheaper transport, more reorganisation within the industry and also the chance to create a more eco-friendly way to travel. I also want to help young people who find themselves in trouble, and also help children with their emotional and mental well being, to make sure if they are suffering from trouble or bullying then they can get in touch with someone confidentially, who will be able to help them and give them the best advice possible.
What is your future career ambition?
I’m currently studying A Level Law 3 year early, and so this will hopefully lead me into the career path of Law. However, since the age of about 5, I’ve had the ambition to be the prime minister, and I’ve been interested in politics since then.Whilst I would like to be able to follow the law career, I also really want to enter into politics, as it is my main ambition and passion.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I believe that Tony Blair has been my main inspiration and a person who I deeply admire. He brought the country out of such a deep turmoil and showed that something little could change for the better to become a bigger and greater thing. Other than that there are members of my family, like my mum and grandparents, who are very inspirational of course!
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
That funding in some deprived areas should be boosted, and that they should support youth strategies and ideas more, whilst backing the youths that are trying to bring about change in industries.
Additional comments:
I am thankful for being elected in order to represent my constituency of Lincoln and I will aim and strive to do my best. Thanks again.
