Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
I am most passionate about equal opportunity for all, as I think it is important that everyone gets a chance in life regardless of their ethnic background. I feel that race should not determine how a person is viewed in society and I am strongly against stereotyping and labelling which can lead to discrimination.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
I think the biggest issue for young people within my constituency is gun and knife crime, as it is very rampant because of the different areas within the borough conflicting and fighting for territory and status.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I hope to achieve a more positive environment within my borough and to also help those who struggle to express themselves, through empowerment schemes, talent showcases etc.
What is your future career ambition?
I would like to become a Member of Parliament.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I admire Trevor McDonald, because I think he is a great orator, and a man of great respect as his journey to become a great journalist came from such a humble beginning. Trevor McDonald is a positive figure to look upon for young black males like myself as he has impacted the world of journalism.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Set up a solid programme to help stop gun and knife crime.
