Which political issues are you most passionate about?

Economic sustainability is very important in a modern world which is gradually running out of resources and space to grow enough food; this is why it is one of the issues I am most passionate about. Also the rights of all to equal treatment, and the war against discrimination both negative and positive I am very passionate about, particularly the right of religious people to freedom of religious practice. My final passionate issue has got to be Patriotism and being proud of one’s country; I feel passionately that if the government wants us to be patriotic they should lead by example and make Britain something to be proud of!

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

Poor youth provision! And nationally, political apathy is destroying the young generation and politicians need to leave behind party politics for the commons and in the public domain should always make politics issue based, as in identifying problems and proposing solutions.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

I would hope that in my time in office I can make sure that young peoples voices are listened to and to ensure this connection between `youth` and government is maintained long into the future.

What is your future career ambition?

My ambitions boil down to three career options, Politician, Teacher or Priest.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

Baroness Margaret Thatcher is a hero of mine as a figure who guided Britain out of incredibly difficult times that we may never have recovered from.  Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II is someone who I admire greatly as someone who devoted her life to the service of this great country and has always been a guiding light in times of trouble. Pope John Paul II was another person I admired for his service to his religion and his enormous wisdom helped change the church from a dying institution to a moral compass for the entire world!

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

Prepare for opposition! On a more serious note I believe the government needs to remember what it stands for and return to its most admirable goals of income distribution and the improvement of public services.
