Which political issues are you most passionate about?

The political issues I care most about are young people’s rights and young people having a voice that is heard. I also don’t think that there are enough activities for young people to become involved in such as local leisure facilities and places for young people to go instead of wandering round on street corners. I also think that for young people to travel to the activities that it is available, public transport is very expensive. The other political issue I care about is funding for schools in sports and arts, I think there should be more funding available for schools, so they can help make their schools better.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

I feel that the biggest issue for people in my constituency is the amount of activities for young people to do. I feel there is very little to do, and for the activities that are available, the public transport to get there is too expensive. I would like to see affordable local activities for young people to get involved in.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

During my term of office I hope to achieve some of the issues I have mentioned, to listen to the young people in my constituency and make their voices heard. I hope to make a difference to the community to better it for all young people.

What is your future career ambition?

I do not have an exact future career ambition other than to get ‘A’s and ‘A*’s in my GCSEs and go on to do A levels, then go to Oxford University.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I do not have a particular public figure which I admire but I admire those who are helping young people to achieve their dreams and helping to represent young people.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

They should take into account the views and opinions of young people, on what they want to see in the future and the issues they are concerned about. As young people are the future and they don’t deserve to be stereotyped. Not only should they listen but they should act on it as well.
