Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
There is no single political issue I feel is more important than any others, just getting young peoples' voices heard. As all politics has some impact on young people be it direct or indirect and they need to know they can influence the outcomes of these issues.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
In my constituency, I feel the biggest issue for young people is seeing that they have the possibility for a bright future. Tourism is taken so seriously that it has seemingly canceled out the care taken for the residents. They don't have to fall into that trap.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
During my term in office I would like to give something back to the young people of Blackpool. I want them to know that they can help themselves and I want them to know how to do it effectively, even if all that means is publicising what UKYP is.
What is your future career ambition?
My career ambition for the future is to go into politics. I have always been interested in how things are organized and getting involved in it as well as helping toughs who aren't necessarily unable to help themselves but may find it difficult. I am actually doing my work experience with my constituency MP.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
The public figure I most admire is Bob Marley. It's not that I'm a massive fan of his music, but it amazes me how anyone can get shot and perform just two days later. He told a reporter, “The people trying to make this world a worse place aren't taking a day off, so why should I?”
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
If I could send the Government just one message it would be to listen to the youth, they are this country's future. We are the people whose choices are truly going to effect and shape a system within which all people are listened to regardless of age, as it doesn't always correlate with level of sense.
