Which political issues are you most passionate about? It would have to be public transport for young people. Travelling is an important aspect in our lives, and with fares this high, I feel this affects the majority of young people. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? Again, it’s definitely public transport. We have to pay ridiculous amounts just to get to school or wherever it is! Also, I feel that ‘Places to go and Things to do’ is a struggle in our area. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I hope to deal with the issues stated above. I want to make my council aware of the problem and for them to back us in what we want to achieve. I would also like to advertise UKYP more as young people in my authority don’t know anything about it! What is your future career ambition? I ‘m not really sure what I’d like to do but something like helping young people would be nice! Which public figure do you most admire and why? Well…..I admire Jackie Pullinger who helped others regardless of their background or low reputation. She helped drug addicts and criminals quit their wrong acts. She did a lot of things for young people like set up youth clubs. She is an inspiration to me!
