-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? It has to be Votes at 16. I really can't see how 16 year-olds can do so much being viewed as an adult but can't really have a say on who makes the decisions that infuence them directly.They need to be represented in elections! What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? Underage smoking, it’s becoming a really big problem and creates a huge amount of peer pressure on other people to look “cool” even though it severely harms the body. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I would like to be an active member in the UKYP and be really involved with all our campaigns this year. Regional or national, no matter what we decide to do! What is your future career ambition? I would love to go into law to represent people, although it does mean I’d have to lie a lot…good thing I’m in politics then. Which public figure do you most admire and why? I admire Charles Kennedy the most because he held his party together as leader. Despite insults and pressure, he stayed a strong MP and is still able to educate people like when he gave a talk on his view on Europe.If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? Please give us, 16 year olds the right to vote, or raise everything to 18 to tie in with “adulthood”.
