-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? It would probably be the cheaper transport fares, as this is a big problem for the youth, as adults say we “hang around” on street corners, but could this be because we can’t go anywhere as we can’t afford train tickets. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? I feel that it would be the transport issue, as many people have asked me to try to lower the fares, but this is seeming quite hard, this is also tied in with not having anything to do, so we are trying to hold more events. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I would hope to allow the youth to have a good time, without being “nagged” by adults saying that we shouldn’t do this, also I would try to reduce the cost of transport, (quite hard though). What is your future career ambition? I really want to study medicine, and then specialise in sports. Which public figure do you most admire and why? My idol is probably Barack Obama, as he really tried to overcome the negativity of the USA and their old views, he also proved to the world that anything is possible. If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? “Sort the expenses out”, (joking) I would really ask them to listen to the youth as we are the future of tomorrow, and we do have many good ideas.
