--------------------------------------------------------
Which political issues are you
most passionate about?
Equality is something that I feel very strongly about, so anything that can be done to make a society where discrimination of any kind isn’t tolerated would be something I would back completely.
What do you feel is the biggest
issue for young people in your constituency?
Bus prices are currently a hindrance for many young people trying to get around in Oxford city. This, and some poor bus routes in some parts of Oxford constitute a problem for many young people.
What do you hope to achieve during
your term of office?
I would like to try and have bus prices lowered or frozen at the very least. Along with this, striving to achieve the UKYP’s main goals, such as the representation of young people in the media and to further the recycling agenda.
What is your future career ambition?
I would like to study PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) at University and then go on to work in some fraction of the financial industry.
Which public figure do you most
admire and why?
I admire Margaret Thatcher quite a bit because of how she seemed to genuinely believe in what she was doing and the strength she carried in her words. Along with this, she overcame all of the barriers for her time to reach the top of the political world.
If there was one message you could
send to the government, what would it be?
Don’t forget about the young people in the country. They are the future.
