Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I am most passionate about an improved transport service for young people, the abolition of university tuition fees and a fairer representation of young people in the media.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

Where I live, in Cornwall, transport is the biggest issue as the service can be unreliable, infrequent and too costly! We have been trying to improve the service for a long time.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

In my term, I hope to ensure that we continue with our campaign for a better bus service, to show the media that they are wrong about young people and, finally, to help more under 18’s find employment that suits them.

What is your future career ambition?

When I leave college, I hope to study medicine at university and become a doctor.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I don’t have one favourite but I have several public figures who I admire: the Queen, who still carries out her duties willingly at the age of 82; Nye Bevan – the creator of the NHS and Margaret Thatcher, who always had great determination.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

Hello!? The government needs to listen to us much more than it does now. Young people’s views are not listened and responded to enough. If the Government were to ask the young people of the United Kingdom their opinion more often, we would solve a lot of problems!
