Which political issues are you most passionate about? For me, it’s about abolishing university fees, and it’s been a huge part of my election campaign, and something I’d like to take a step towards during my role as Deputy MYP. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? Recent surveys carried out show young people are most concerned about the poor transport in our constituency. I’m currently taking a main role in a campaign to maintain free transport to Faith Schools. What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? Already, I have played a role in the campaign for safety tools on main social networking sites to be improved. Now we’ve ticked that box, I will be focusing on my own constituency, aiming to improve transport availability, as requested by young people. What is your future career ambition? If I’m being honest, I don’t really know. But I can guarantee I won’t be going into politics. It’s a career where everything you do will upset somebody, somewhere. There are few correct answers. People don’t remember when you get it right, but never forget every mistake.
